   Are Easy Keepers Malnourished?

Why Easy Keepers Are Malnourished

If an “average” horse must eat 8 to 10 pounds of commercial feed a day to receive minimally “adequate” vitamins and minerals, then our easy-keeper, who only gets 1 pound or less, only receives 1/10 of that nutrition. horse sense is formulated for optimal nutrition with low carbohydrates and minimal calories. Easy-keepers no longer need to suffer from nutritional deficiency.

The proper yeast culture fed at the proper level along with proper balance of minerals, will lower your horse’s heart rate, rate of respiration, and enhance blood chemistries, making your horse’s level of aerobic fitness higher, even before he steps out of his stall.

In addition to the scientifically balanced 16 minerals, 13 vitamins and 13 essential amino acids, horse sense contains a very special, high potency yeast culture called Diamond V XP Yeast(TM) which provides twice the nutrilites of ordinary yeast cultures, doubly enhancing the activity of the bacteria to break down feed more completely and provide the horse with additional nutrients for absorption. It has also been proven to dramatically reduce stress and losses caused by stress.

The Calcium common in alfalfa hay deprives
the horse of the use of Zinc...

HorseSense is designed to work with grass, legume or mixed hays. Our feed label provides you with instructions on how to feed our product with your particular hay and forage.

Excess protein decreases a horse’s performance because it requires
energy to digest and it raises both heart and respiration rates.

HorseSense A (Adult Horse) has about 8% protein, so there is no problem of overloading.

Feeding excess Iron deprives the horse of the availability of Copper.

Copper and Iron work together in the horse’s body. In fact, they share receptors, so that too much of either one will block the absorption of the other. This imbalance will bring condition down. With horse sense, there is no need ever to supplement “blood builders” and risk Iron overdosing.

Feeding free-choice minerals does not work.

The British Society of Veterinary Surgeons published a study which proved unequivocally that horses fed free-choice minerals do not choose what they need. Furthermore, it proved that horses choose only those things that taste good to them. Many essential vitamins and minerals do not taste very good—ask anyone who ever tried to chew their Iron or B Complex tablets—and so they are the last things any well-fed horse would eat. At HorseSense, we have gone the extra mile to make our products palatable, almost delicious.

These are just a few ways imbalances happen, but there are dozens! HorseSense will relieve you of the worry that these imbalances and deficiencies are happening to your horse. And you will see a difference!
