NEW STALLION COMES TO
VIRGINIA
Arguably the
fastest horse in America on
a given day, "Captain Red"
will stand at the Virginia
Equine Resarch facility at
Morgan Mills on Springs Road
in Jeffersonton. This
stakes-placed, Aquaduct
record-setter (6 furlongs in
1:07.93 NTR), is the son of
"sire of sires," Mr.
Greeley. Competed until age
7, in 43 starts, he
racked-up 15 wins with an
average winning distance of
5 1/2 lengths.
